Although CommuniText™ integrates into Outlook, it does NOT use email to send the SMS messages. Instead, CommuniText™ uses the same protocol as is used by your browser to communicate with the RSD Messaging Portal. This avoids the latency often encountered with email, where messages can sit on a server for hours before being delivered.
